Today, we pulled up into the parking lot of the Presido and toured around. There was a large pond with a beautiful fountain and ducks, swans, and other birds swim around it. It also had many tall, intricate buildings. Soon after that, we drove up a steep 45 degree hill and rode down the crookest road in the world, The Lombard Street! Mama started screaming time to time as we turned on very sharp curbs.
A short while later, we headed out for the Golden Gate Bridge. We slowly crossed it as we looked out the windows and admired the small, sandy bay and inhabited green islands. My brother, Kenny and I thoght it was a great sight at the vista point and shot some pictures. Soon we made a quick U- turn and crossed the bridge once again and drove up to my favorite place in San Francisco, the Ghrardelli Factory!!! The heavenly smell and the look of the rich, brown Ghrardelli chocalte made my mouth water. I ended up tricking my dad (as usual) into buying a 80 piece bag of chocolate!
As we drove down to Subway for lunch, my stomach grumbled and I kept scolding it so it would stop, but it didn't. I could really use a sub, a refreshing drink, and of course, a little square of chocalate. We turned and headed into to the entrance of Subway. I had half of a Spicy Italian footlong which had salami, pepperoni, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, oil, and vinegar. It was scrumptious! For a small dessert, I had a square of Ghrardelli Carmel. I was fully satisfied ! Sadly, our day was soon over , but we hoped that more fun will come tomorrow. I hope we all have a good night sleep so we can have a lot of energy for next day, the last day.
